Our Global Outreach Team (GO Team) is dedicated to supporting, praying, and encouraging our numerous Missionary Partners, locally and around the world.

We have a Mission Highlight once a month during our Sunday Worship time. We provide updates to our congregation, hear prayer requests and needs from the missionary, and pray for them as a church family.

Below is our Global Outreach Ministry Report for 2025:

The GO Team had a very active year, continuing to support our 12 ministry partners, both local and global, as well as sending out two mission trips. A Mission Prayer Booklet is available in the back by the world map with a list of our missionaries if you would like to pray for them. Our mission is to support our missionaries through prayer, encouragement, financial support, and, when possible, sending a team to visit, pray, or encourage them in sharing the Gospel. The ongoing Missionary Highlight during service once a month continues to help our congregation to remember our missionaries in prayer and keep everyone up to date on what is happening in their ministry and personal lives.

May 31-June 8, we sent a team to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, for 10 days to the Inter-American School to lead worship and teach VBS. Alejandro and Katie Samayoa are ministry partners who are teachers there and put us in contact with the Director for American teams.  Approximately 35 kids accepted Christ during this VBS Ministry!!

June 20-30th, Dan and Laura were sent to Soldotna, Alaska, to join others in blessing our partners, Tom and Nancy Armstrong, by building their permanent home. We had 6 men (mostly from MN) who aided in building an 18’ x 30’ home with a 5’x30’ porch. It was a great blessing to the Armstrongs, who are now living in their home and expecting their first child. It was a great opportunity to observe their life as an airplane mechanic, and meet their friends and neighbors, as well as visit the church and small group where they attend.

After a busy summer, we focused our attention on GO Month in October, featuring worship songs from around the world in our Sunday morning service, as well as missionary partners Ryan and Krista Gerbrandt, Love INC, Helping Hands Pregnancy Center, and Christa Erno, who all spoke in person. Lastly, due to the generous giving during our Silent Auction Fundraiser, we were able to increase the Christmas bonuses and give small increases in monthly support as well.

As we look to 2026, we feel led to keep things simple and get “back to the basics” in understanding God’s heart for the nations as we care for one another and support our missionaries. It is our desire to see how God is going to work, move, and transform hearts around the globe in 2026, and we want to join in His Vision for the Nations.
